GuestCam at a glance
GuestCam is a $49 one-time, browser-based wedding photo app with a feature mix that punches above its weight: unlimited original-quality uploads, an AI "find every photo of guest X" face-finder, and an audio guestbook. Guests scan a QR code, upload, and the host gets a private gallery for 14 months.
Where GuestCam fits best
If you specifically want the face-recognition feature to make it easy for relatives to find every photo they're in afterwards, GuestCam delivers it well at a fair price. The audio guestbook is also genuinely nice — a few sentences from each table become a small voice keepsake.
Where AisleShot fits better
The two practical differences that matter at the table on the wedding day:
- No free preview. GuestCam doesn't have a free tier, so you can't fully build out your gallery (table cards, signage, prompts, branding) before paying. AisleShot's free tier lets you preview the entire experience — gallery viewer, slideshow, the lot — and only pay when you're happy to go live.
- Print signage isn't included. GuestCam gives you the QR, but the print-ready table cards, welcome signs and "scan-to-add" prompt cards aren't bundled. AisleShot generates beautiful print-ready signage with your names and date in A4, US Letter and table-card sizes built in.
The headline price is also slightly different: GuestCam is $49 (~€45), AisleShot's Core tier is €25 and the Premium tier with the long storage and disposable-camera mode is €49.
If you're moving from GuestCam
If you've paid GuestCam but haven't shipped your signage yet, the migration is trivial. Spin up an AisleShot gallery for free, print the new signage with our generator, and you're done. If you still want face recognition, AisleShot offers it as a €19 per-event add-on rather than baked into the base price.
